Delete Your Account & Data

You can permanently delete your Luy Money account and its associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

Open Luy Money and sign in to your account.
Go to Settings (bottom navigation).
Tap Profile, then scroll to Delete Account.
Confirm your password when prompted and tap Delete.

Your account is closed immediately and you are signed out on all devices.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer sign in, email support@luymoney.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include your registered name so we can verify the account. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email when it is done.

What gets deleted

Your login credentials and authentication record
Your name, email address, phone number and profile photo
Your saved and bookmarked lessons and articles
Your likes, comments and activity history
Your support chat messages
Your push notification token and notification history

What is kept, and for how long

Payment and subscription records — retained for up to 7 years because accounting and tax law requires it. These records are kept separately from your profile and are not used to identify you for any other purpose.
Anonymised analytics and crash data — data that can no longer be linked back to you may be retained in aggregate form.

Everything else is deleted or irreversibly anonymised within 30 days of your request.

Please note: deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Any remaining time on an active subscription is forfeited and is not refunded, and you will lose access to all member content. If you only want to stop being billed, cancel your subscription instead of deleting your account.
